The Naked Burglar of Centreville — Surveillance Video Drops and He's STILL Out There

A man has broken into five homes in Centreville, Virginia — completely naked, wearing only sneakers and a cloth wrapped around his head. Police held a press conference this week, released surveillance video, and he's STILL at large. Residents are triple-locking their doors and the whole neighborhood is on edge.

Good morning fellas.

Welcome to Mornings in the Lab.

I need you to STAY WITH ME on this one.

Because this story is REAL.

It happened in a NORMAL suburb in Virginia.

And it is ABSOLUTELY unhinged.

According to WJLA and Up North Live, a man has broken into FIVE homes in Centreville, Virginia.

Five.

FIVE break-ins.

And every single time — this man was COMPLETELY naked.

Not partially clothed. Not in a bathrobe. FULLY. NUDE.

The only things this man was wearing in the most recent incident?

Sneakers.

And what police describe as — and I quote — "an article of clothing wrapped around his head."

That's the outfit.

Sneakers and a head wrap.

Fairfax County Police held a PRESS CONFERENCE this week.

They released surveillance video and increased neighborhood patrols.

And as of April 5th — this man is STILL out there.

I know what you're thinking.

"That's funny. That's wild. That's a crazy story."

And YES. It is all of those things.

But this is a QUIET neighborhood near an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

This man has been in people's BEDROOMS.

He has been on people's SECOND FLOORS.

He told one victim to BE QUIET.

That's not funny anymore.

Neighbor Arianne Ignacio told WJLA — "We were panicking and freaking out because we do have kids. It's very scary."

Neighbor Ryan Key said — "Oh no, he's back, we're still doing this, they haven't caught him yet."

People are triple-locking their doors. Checking cameras before bed. Looking around the street before their husbands leave for work.

This is what happens when something like THIS moves into your neighborhood.

Five things you need to know.

Number ONE.

According to WJLA, this started March 5th — around 5:15 in the MORNING.

A nude man entered a bedroom while a resident was getting ready for work. There was a confrontation. He ran off.

Number TWO.

He came BACK the very next day.

A resident found a FOOTPRINT on a trash can moved against a fence — used to climb into the backyard.

This man is ORGANIZED. That's the part that should concern you.

Number THREE.

March 7th — 4:30 in the morning — a woman was woken by her DOG BARKING.

She looked up and saw a FULLY NAKED MAN peering through a door inside her home.

She startled him. He ran. The dog is the hero of this story.

Number FOUR.

March 8th — ONE DAY LATER — same neighborhood.

A woman heard footsteps. Looked up. Naked man. Standing in the doorway. On the SECOND FLOOR of her home.

He told her to be quiet. She SCREAMED. He bolted.

Major James Curry of Fairfax County Police told reporters — "Fortunately, she screamed loud enough. That startled him and scared him away."

Number FIVE.

The LATEST incident — this week — around 5 a.m.

A home surveillance system alerted a resident. Footage showed the nude man — sneakers on, something wrapped around his head — trying the sliding glass door.

It didn't open. He ran into the woods.

Fairfax County Police released that footage and are asking the public for help identifying him.

Here's where it gets interesting.

Major James Curry said — "There's some knowledge and awareness of what they're doing, but there could be a layer of MENTAL HEALTH involved."

He called it SOMEBODY'S RESPONSIBILITY to turn this person in.

Because five break-ins. Early morning hours. Same neighborhood. A pattern THIS consistent doesn't stop on its own.

And the surveillance footage shows this man KNEW what he was doing.

He cased the property. He tried the door. He had an exit route.

There is a METHOD here. But nobody knows the GOAL.

That's the wildest part of all of this.

So what do you DO with this?

CHECK YOUR SETUP.

Do you have cameras? Are they actually recording? When did you last test your alarm?

This neighborhood thought they were safe too.

KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS.

Community awareness is not paranoia — it's your first line of defense.

And if you SEE something that doesn't feel right — CALL IT IN.

Major Curry said it directly — turning someone in before this evolves is a COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY.

Here's the question I want you to sit with today.

If something like this happened in YOUR neighborhood — would you know about it?

Do you know your neighbors well enough that they'd TEXT you?

Or are you living next to people you've never spoken to?

COMMUNITY is your first line of defense.

That starts RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR FRONT DOOR.

DROP IT IN THE COMMENTS.

Mental health crisis? Elaborate plan? Absolutely unhinged?

And — how LOCKED DOWN is your home security situation right now?

Share this with someone who needs a real talk morning wake-up call.
